Jaguar F-Pace SVR Debuts in UAE

In the world of car brands, the name Jaguar has always inspired a sense of seduction among car enthusiasts. As the flagship SUV of the company, the newly launched, all-new 2020 Jaguar F-Pace SVR is sure going to make its competitors jealous with its rugged new look, vast arsenal of features and the beautiful combination of class, comfort and performance. The beautiful design and high performance specs allows this car to behave like a sports car, with its perfect balance between heart-racing acceleration and floating cloud like suspension. It is easily one of the most stunning choices in the segment that is not short on visual appeal. This Jaguar, also provides superb utility, offering more cargo space than many rivals. It certainly could be a perfect choice if the customer is on the lookout for a luxury SUV with friendly handling and stunning design.

•    This 4X4 has plenty of gaps for air intakes to cool its powerful engine. Air also floats into the front wheel arches to help cool the upgraded breaks. An extend air breather behind the front wheel then channels the air out, thus helping to reduce lift at higher speeds.
•    Available in five versions, this British car’s starting price will be around AED 206,115. The F-pace comes with a muscular, supercharged 8-cylinder 5.0 Litre V8 engine under its hood, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission gearbox, producing 542BHP and 680Nm torque.
•    This gives this all-wheel drive the ability to jump to 100Kmph from a standing start within just 4.3 seconds, which almost puts the car in supercar territory.
•    One interesting feature that contributes to the cars performances is the use of asymmetric engine mounts, which aids agility and steering feel through better weight transfer management. The net result is that, when you turn into a bend or corner, the car moves more directly and with greater precision.

Known for its features, the F-Pace offers features such as auto headlamps, cargo area light, 12V socket-front only, supportive sports seats with quilted leather trim, an SVR steering wheel, a new gear lever and some metal gear-shift paddles that feels absolutely lovely.

•    Inside the cabin, there is crisp heads-up display, a modern infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity and four zone climate control. The quad exhausts have a variable valve system that you can choose to close, depending on how much attention you want to draw to yourself.
•    Being a supercharged engine there is instantaneous response and a clearly audible whine from the blower that makes you not want to lift off the throttle. Optional 22-inch alloy wheels help to reduce rotating mass and save 4.1KG over the standard parts, despite the rears wearing wider 295-section tyres.

The F-Pace SVR is not short on competition these days, but jaguar’s talent has managed to find an outstanding balance between outright pace, communicative and rewarding handling that results in a car that is greater than the sum of its parts and hugely fun to drive.

Triumph Trident Is Ready to Rule the Roads

Triumph has announced that their upcoming sports bike in its final stages of development, and will launch in India in 2021. The company has released photographs of the middleweight naked roadstar, ‘The Trident’. Triumph has been pretty tight lipped about this project and the first photos of this upcoming sports bike in India did not show much skin, but the test prototype in camouflage gave us an idea what the final product will look like.  With the names like Honda CB650R, Kawasaki Z650 and Yamaha MT-07, Trident’s ace in the sleeves will be its first triple cylinder engine in the segment, which is likely to produce 85PS and 70Nm. Though the design of this upcoming sports bike is somewhat derived from Triumph Street Triple and Daytona, it is expected that Triumph will equip the motorcycle with a range of electronic aids to enhance rider’s confidence. The completely fresh bit is the frame, though. Triumph says that the trident will feature an all-new style frame, and judging from the previous Triumph bikes, the new frame will definitely be a charmer.

Triumph Trident- Features

•    Considering that the bike is in its final stages of testing, we will find a lot more details in upcoming bike news in India, but the new images show the bike packing Showa-inverted front fork and a rear monoshock.
•    It also gets twin front disks with axial callipers up front and single piston callipers ones at the rear.
•    From the pictures, it can be determined that the bike seems to be riding on Michelin Road 5 Tyres on both ends, which will provide good grip as well as comfort in all weather conditions.
•    Judging by the other Triumph bikes, it is expected the instrument cluster to be fully loaded with a ton of information, including smartphone connectivity.
•    Apart from Bluetooth connectivity, other likely features are to be riding modes, traction control, dual-channel ABS and LCD instrumentation among others.

Triumph Trident-Styling and Aesthetics

•    The styling of the Trident can be called minimalistic given its European flair and dash of American brawniness. The round headlight gives a retro vibe to the naked bike, while the muscular fuel tank reminds us of the Harley-Davidson Bronx.
•    The rear portion is similar to the older Street Triple and to give the bike a clean look, the number plate bracket will be mounted on the swing-arm. The curvier lines in the design give the Trident a more mature look.
•     The all-new tubular steel chassis is another big improvement on the design which will help in saving cost. The rake angle could be more relaxed for better stability and the suspension setup might be on the softer side to offer a more comfortable ride as the bike is focused on beginner riders.
•    The British brand has informed that despite the new chassis, fun factor will not be missing from this upcoming sports bike. A more upright and comfortable riding posture than the Street Triple will make the Trident a competent tourer.

However, the icing on the cake is the confirmation from Triumph about its India launch. The bike’s production in Thailand ensures that India could avail the benefits of the Free Trade Agreement. It will be the most affordable Triumph as the price range is likely to be within INR 6.5-7 Lakh.
